How long does Meta take to approve a template?
Usually a few minutes, sometimes up to a day. You see the status change from pending to approved or rejected.
Can I edit a rejected template?
No. Fix the wording and submit it again under a new name. If you think the rejection was a mistake, you can ask Meta to review it from WhatsApp Manager.
Utility or marketing: which should I pick?
Utility for messages about something the customer already did or booked: confirmations, reminders, receipts, updates. Marketing for anything that promotes: offers, new products, greetings. Utility costs much less, but a promotion filed as utility is moved to marketing or rejected.
