Connect your WhatsApp number
Prepare your number and business details, then connect through Meta’s official signup.

Open guideCreate your account 2 minutes
Sign up with your work email and confirm it with the code we send you. That’s the whole form.
- No card is asked for at signup
- Your account is ready to use straight away
Connect your WhatsApp number About 10 minutes
Press Connect your WhatsApp Number and Meta’s own signup window opens inside the app. You log in with Facebook, enter your business details, and confirm the phone number with a code sent by SMS or a call.
- The WhatsApp Business Account is created under your business, not ours
- You can disconnect the number from GetSetSales at any time
Write a template and bring your contacts 15 minutes, plus Meta’s review
A template is the message you will send first — an offer, a reminder, an order update. You write it in GetSetSales and Meta reviews it, usually within minutes and occasionally up to a day. While you wait, import your customer list from a spreadsheet and tag it into segments.
- Only message customers who have agreed to hear from you on WhatsApp
- Anyone who opts out is excluded from future campaigns automatically
Send, automate and reply You’re live
Launch your first campaign, switch on an automation to take the first response, and work the replies from the shared inbox. Your first 100 messages need no wallet balance; after that, top up from ₹500.
- Campaigns, automation and the shared inbox are all included
Have these four things ready
Setup goes quickly when nothing sends you off to find something halfway through.
A phone number you can verify
It must be able to receive the verification SMS or call. If it already uses WhatsApp, ask support to confirm the supported connection path before changing your existing account.
A Facebook login
Meta’s signup asks you to log in with Facebook so the WhatsApp Business Account belongs to you. Use the account of whoever owns or runs the business.
Your business details
The business name as customers know it, its address, and a website or social media page. This is what customers see on your WhatsApp profile.
A payment method for Meta
WhatsApp’s own message charges are billed to you directly by Meta, so Meta asks for a card on your WhatsApp Business Account before you can send. We never see or handle it.
The limits WhatsApp sets on a new number
These are WhatsApp’s rules and apply on every platform. Better to hear them now than to meet them mid-campaign.
How many customers can I message at first?
Meta controls messaging limits and business verification. Check the current limit in your WhatsApp Manager and complete any checks Meta requests before planning a larger campaign.
Can I use the number I already use on WhatsApp?
If it is on the WhatsApp Business app, yes: choose “Existing WhatsApp Business app number” when you connect, and you keep using the app on your phone while the same number works in GetSetSales. Your contacts and up to six months of chats come across. You need app version 2.24.17 or newer. Calls stay in the app on your phone: WhatsApp calling through GetSetSales is not available on these numbers. If the number is on ordinary WhatsApp, delete that WhatsApp account on the phone first, then connect it as a new number. What to expect.
Why does my template need approval?
WhatsApp reviews every message a business sends first, to keep spam off the platform. Clear, specific templates — who you are, why you are writing, what the customer can do — are approved fastest.
What is business verification, and do I need it?
Meta controls messaging limits and business verification. Check the current limit in your WhatsApp Manager and complete any checks Meta requests before planning a larger campaign.
Can you set it up for me?
The steps are designed to be done yourself, but if you get stuck, write to support@getsetsales.in and a person will help you through it.
