It’s WhatsApp’s own short link for starting a chat: wa.me followed by your number with the country code. Anyone who taps it opens a chat with you, without saving your number first.
Does this tool store my number?
No. The link and the QR code are made in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us.
Will the link stop working?
No. It’s a standard WhatsApp link and works as long as your number is on WhatsApp. If you change numbers, make a new link.
Does it work with the WhatsApp Business app?
Yes. It works for personal WhatsApp, the WhatsApp Business app and the WhatsApp Business API alike.
Can I see how many people clicked?
Not with a plain wa.me link. Use a different first message for each place (for example “from Instagram” or “from Google”) to see where chats come from.
